Empire State Building

I could see wonderful sight at top of the ESB.
エンパイアーステートビルからの眺めは素晴らしかったです。

A direction of East River. You can see the Daimler-Chrysler building and the United Nations Headquaters.
これはイーストリバー方面。ダイムラークライスラービルや国連本部が見えます。

The design of the Daimler-Chrysler building is beautiful.
ダイムラークライスラービルは美しいデザインですね。

This is a direction of Hudson river.
ハドソン川の方角です。

Is the acrophobia person painful ?
高所恐怖症の人には辛いかも。(^^;;

A direction of Lower Manhattan. You can see Statue of Liverty, but a little.
ロウアー・マンハッタン方面の眺めです。小さいですが、自由の女神が見えます。

from Battery Park to ESB

After Wall street, I went to the Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan.
ウォール街の後、マンハッタン最南端のバッテリーパークに行きました。

The Statue of Liberty. I wanted to go to the Liverty Island, but there were many people waited boat to go there. So I only looked at it from a long distance. Unlucky...
そう、自由の女神です。本当はリバティ島へ行きたかったのだけど、多くの人がそこへ行く船を待っていたので、遠くから眺めるに留めました。残念・・・
After then, I got on a subway to go to...

The Empire State Building ! I couldn't see the top of ESB from just under.
エンパイア・ステート・ビルです。真下からでは上を見ることは出来ません。。。

Go to the observatory by the elevator.
エレベーターに乗って展望台に向かいます。

I standed in queue to take this elevator for a long time and got security check. It was worth to wait! The view from the observatory was so wonderful!
エレベーターに乗る為に長い時間並び、セキュリティチェックも受けましたが、その甲斐がありました！展望台からの眺めは本当に素晴らしかったです！

Install V-Link to My LEXUS IS

This time, the travel's topic has a rest.　I write about LEXUS IS, after a long interval. :-)
今回は旅行の話題はお休みして、久しぶりに LEXUS IS の話題をアップします。(^^)/

I bought V-Link. This make to connect iPod and my 2IS.
V-Link を購入しました。　iPod と IS を接続してくれます。

V-link can show status of iPod on the NAVI screen and I can control all iPod's function via remote controller. So, I have to connect V-Link and 2IS by video external input. At first, I connected iPod to my 2IS as test.
V-LinkはNAVIの画面にiPodの状態を表示し、全てのコントロールをリモコンを介して行うことができます。なので、接続はVIDEO外部入力を使う必要があります。
まずはテスト接続してみました。

It worked fine. :-)
うまく動いてくれました。(^^)v

While connecting, iPod's display shows like this.
接続中のiPodのディスプレイはこんな感じです。

I installed it in the center console. The receiver of remote controller set in ashtray box. And, I set ipod in the glove box. Here is the best position for iPod, I think.
V-Linkはセンターコンソールの中に、リモコンの受光部は灰皿ユニットの中、そしてiPodはグローブボックスの中に設置しました。ここがベストポジションだと思います。

V-Link can show pictures and MPG movie that were saved in iPod.
V-Link は、iPodに保存した写真やMPGムービーを再生する事もできます。

V-Link is multifunctional and convenient. But, there are few nise from alternator. :-(
I need a nise filter...
V-Link はとても多機能で便利です。しかし、やっぱりオルタネーターノイズが聞こえます。(--;
ノイズフィルターが必要です。。。

Brooklyn Bridge - Wall Street

The Brooklyn Bridge has boaｒd-walk. There has a good view of NYC.
ブルックリン橋には木道があって、ＮＹの眺めがとても良い所です。

I could see NYC from a hight.
高い視点からＮＹの街を望む事ができます。

ここはグランドゼロです。。。

Face to Wall Street.
ウォール街へ向かいます。

New York Stock Excange. Here is centeral of world economic.
Actually, I imagined a larger building.
世界の経済の中心地、ニューヨーク証券取引所です。
実はもっと大きな建物を想像していました。

However, this is a real NYSE.
でもこれは本物だよね。

Memories of Soho in NYC

I went to Manhattan from NJ by this boat.
この船でニュージャージー側からマンハッタンへ。

Manhattan's view from Hudson river was so beautiful.
ハドソン川からのマンハッタンは、とても美しい眺めでした。

At first, I headed to Soho. Every Building at Soho was old and has fashionable boutique at 1st floor.
まず最初にソーホーへ向かいました。ソーホーのどの建物も古く、１階にはお洒落なブティックが軒を連ねています。

This is Apple store.
これはアップルストアです。

This building seemed to have been a post office before.
かつては郵便局だったようです。

This is a church. It is old and a solemn atmosphere.
教会。古くて厳粛な雰囲気です。

This is a convenience store in Japanese-speak. Its not flower shop.
これは日本で言うところのコンビニです。花屋ではありませんよ。

Actually, The purpose that I had gone to Soho is to see this.
実は、ソーホーに行った目的は、これを確認するためだったのですよ！

Visited Philadelphia City

I visited Philadelphia city too.
At first, I faced to Philadelphia art museum to check THAT.
アメリカではフィラデルフィアへも行きました。
先ず向かったのは、フィラデルフィア美術館、あれを確認する為に・・・

I was able to see it at the top of stairs.
階段を上がると、それを確認する事ができました。

Philadelphia is independence place of the US. The declaration of independence was done in this building.
フィラデルフィアは建国の地です。この建物の中で独立宣言が行われました。

I thought Philadelphia's town looks like the SOHO district in NY.
町並みはニューヨークのＳＯＨＯ地区に似た雰囲気です。

The Starbucks cafe is also fashionable.
スタバもお洒落です。

And, this is luxury liner "United Stats". It was built in 1952, and it seems to wait for the repair. However, its near scrap...
そしてこれは係留されている豪華客船「ユナイテッド・ステーツ」です。
１９５２年に建造され、改修を待っているそうです。でもスクラップだね、これは・・・

Hi all !
I'm sorry, I couldn't update my blog for a long time. Huge work waited for me, when I got back from the trip. :-(
It has settled down at long last. So, I'm going to update my blog, bit by bit.
Well, This time, I write cars seen at USA. :-)

みなさん！
長い間、更新できず、すみませんでした。先月、旅行から帰ってきたら莫大な量の仕事が待っていて、もうボロボロ状態でした。。。

BUT! The dealer was closing ! So, I could only take below some pictures...
９月３日、滞在場所のLEXUSを訪問しました。
しかし、お休みでした(！)ので、できる事はいくつかの写真を撮ることだけでした。。。残念！

Some cars were displayed at the outside of the dealer. Of course 2IS also were there.
何台かのクルマが外に展示してありました。もちろんISも。


This dealer seemed to be selling used cars...

Return to Japan

While I was in NY, I couldn't have a chance to connect to the Internet. So I couldn't update my Blog. Now, I'm connect to the Internet from airplane! What a convenient !
NY訪問中はネットになかなか接続できず、ブログ更新も滞っていました。今、接続していますが、飛行機の中からですよ！えらく便利な時代です。

BTW, I could see strange very long line as below picture when I flew at Canada. What is this ? It seems to be not road...
ところで、カナダ上空から奇妙なとても長い直線が見えたのですが、これは何なのですかね？道路には見えませんでしたが。
