TOM's Brace for my LEXUS IS

I went to my dealer today again.
今日もまたMyDに行って来ました。

The purpose of it is to install the TOM's brace for rear suspension. And, I could install it at last. :-)
トムスのリアサスペンション強化ブレースを装着する為で、ようやく完了しました。(^^)/
Silver parts are the brace bar. 白いパーツがそのブレースです。


You can't see the front brace that installed last time, because it is covered by under covers.
前回装着したフロントのブレースは、カバーに覆われて見えません。

After install it, I drove with Mr.K who is sales parson of my dealer. He and I could feel the difference. It was a little bit harder than without brace bar but not bad. And I could get good steer feeling. :D
However, I have to drive more to get the difference. :-)
装着後、SCのＫ氏とドライブして来ました。で我々はフィーリングの違いを感じる事ができました。
ブレース無しの状態よりも少し硬く、でも悪くはありません。
ステアリングのフィーリングは、ダイレクト感が増して、カーブではとても素直に曲がってくれるような感じです。でも、違いを体感する為にはもっとドライブする必要がありそうです。(^^)

Hey! TOM'S !! (--#

I went to my dealer to install TOM's suspension brace bar for my 2IS. These are a part of the parts.
トムスのサスペンション強化ブレースを装着する為、ＭｙＤに行って来ました。これらがそのパーツの一部です。

Technical staff worked fine for me, so much. He could install brace for front suspension.
ＴＳ氏はとても良く対応してくれて、フロントサスのブレースが装着されました。


BUT!! He couldn't install for rear suspension !!!
Because, TOM's sent to me different parts. (--# It was for IS350... Mine is IS250...
So, I have to go again to my dealer to install for rear.
しかーし！彼はリアサス用ブレースを装着する事が出来なかったのです！
なぜなら、トムスは間違えて３５０用のブレースを送ってきたからです。僕のは２５０なのに・・・(--#

However, Tecnical staff led a cable between body and door !
でも、ＴＣ氏は車体とドアの間に配線を通してくれました！

I'll be able to install THAT !! :D
これで、アレを装着することが出来ます!! (^^)/

Ir-Receiver for V-Link

I have installed V-Link that is I/F between my 2IS and iPod. I created and added Ir-Receiver for V-Link.
The V-Link has Ir-Receiver as standard. But it colored white and is very offense to the eye for me. So I did it to behind the panel under the NAVI unit.
V-Link と言うiPodとＩＳを接続するユニットを使っています。その赤外線リモコン受信部を作成し、設置しました。
V-Linkには元々、リモコン受信器が付いているのですが、白くてとても目立ちます。そこで、ナビの下の部分のパネルに隠すことにしました。



Maybe you can't see where Ir-receiver is. Off course it work fine ! :D
これでどこに受信器があるかわからないでしょ。もちろん上手く作動してます！(^^)/

ちなみに、リモコン受信部はコレです。

My LEXUS IS got ...

I'm processing the under cover of NAVI unit for something. There are not enough space at there to install small parts. So, I have to do it, using by the router.:-)
あるコトのために、ナビの下のカバーを加工してます。その部分、小さいパーツを仕込む為のスペースが十分にないので、ルーターを使って削ってます。(^^;;

At last, My 2IS has gotten this number. :D
僕のIS、やっとこの距離です。

I ordered this for my LEXUS IS

I ordered this to my dealer today. (^^)v
I'm looking forward to install it though I'm not sure the delivery date yet !!
本日、コレをＭｙＤへオーダーしました！(^^)v
納期がまだはっきりしないのですが、装着が楽しみでーす！!

Ready to install it...

In order to install something, I removed center console. How many times I removed it... And I put the remaked harness behind the NAVI unit. I could confirm the circuit worked fine. However, the rest of work must be heavy...
アレを装着する為に、センターコンソールをバラしました。もう何度ここをバラしたことか・・・
そして、改造を加えたハーネスをナビユニットの後ろに装着し、回路が正常に動作している事を確認しました。しかし、残りの作業はハードになること間違いないデス・・・(^^;;

I modified the harness.

I modified this harness. I'll install it to my 2IS tomorrow. But the work will continue to complete something...
ハーネスのモディフィケーションは取り合えず完了。明日、My IS に装着する予定ですが、ある目的を完了するにはまだ作業は続きます。。。

I have to modify this harness.

This harness is a jumper cable to make watch TV while driving.
Well, I have to modify this harness to do something. :D
このハーネスは、走行中にTV視聴を可能にする為のジャンパーケーブルです。
さて、コイツをある目的のために加工しなくてはなりません。(^o^)

Can I lead a cable in this tube ?

This is a tube using for electrical cable connecting between body and door. I have to lead 2 cables into this tube for specially. However, I guess this work will be bottleneck.
I hope it will be OK...
これは、車体とドアとの間の配線を接続する為のチューブです。ある目的のために、ここに２本の配線を通す必要があるのですが、多分、これが作業のネックになると思ってます。
上手く行けばいいのだけど・・・

Checking my LEXUS IS

A year has passed since I got the LEXUS IS. So, I went to my dealer to check IS today. While my car was in checking, I was waiting at the owners lounge.
早くもISを入手してから１年が経ちます。で、今日は１２ヶ月点検の為、ディーラーへ。
点検中は、いつもの様にラウンジでくつろいでいました。

Luckily, There was no problem. Oil and the filter, etc. were changed.
Actually, I had an appointment to meet at there with Mr.Timemachine who is my friend and is also owner of LEXUS IS. He and I went to his dealer.
幸いな事に特に問題は無く、オイル、フィルターなどを交換してもらいました。
実は、いつもコメントを頂いているたいむましんさんとここで会う約束をしていて、彼のディーラーへ向かいました。

Arrived. 到着～

I could see Version I colored "Gel Mica" first time at there. This color is very beautiful. I think this color fit for lady.
ここで僕は初めて Version I それも、あのジェルマイカを見る事が出来ました。とても綺麗な色で、女性にとてもよく似合うと思います。

And this is the interior of Version I. Light tone color was used for wood panel.
内装には、明るい色調の木目が使われています。

This was the first time for me to visit another dealer aflter I became a owner of LEXUS. His dealer's atmosphere was a little bit different from my dealer. It was more friendly, I felt. And especially, LEXUS ladies were so beautiful and friendly !! I envy Mr. Timemachine !
Anyway, I could have a delightful time today. Thank you Mr.Timemachine and Ms.A !
今回、レクサスのオーナーになってから初めて他店を訪れました。このディーラーは僕のディーラーと雰囲気が少し違っていて、とてもフレンドリーな印象を受けました。特にレクサス・レディーの皆さんはとても美しく、フレンドリーな方々でした。たいむましんさんが羨ましい！！
まぁそんな訳で、今日はとても楽しいひと時を過ごす事が出来ました。
