Install V-Link to My LEXUS IS

This time, the travel's topic has a rest.　I write about LEXUS IS, after a long interval. :-)
今回は旅行の話題はお休みして、久しぶりに LEXUS IS の話題をアップします。(^^)/

I bought V-Link. This make to connect iPod and my 2IS.
V-Link を購入しました。　iPod と IS を接続してくれます。

V-link can show status of iPod on the NAVI screen and I can control all iPod's function via remote controller. So, I have to connect V-Link and 2IS by video external input. At first, I connected iPod to my 2IS as test.
V-LinkはNAVIの画面にiPodの状態を表示し、全てのコントロールをリモコンを介して行うことができます。なので、接続はVIDEO外部入力を使う必要があります。
まずはテスト接続してみました。

It worked fine. :-)
うまく動いてくれました。(^^)v

While connecting, iPod's display shows like this.
接続中のiPodのディスプレイはこんな感じです。

I installed it in the center console. The receiver of remote controller set in ashtray box. And, I set ipod in the glove box. Here is the best position for iPod, I think.
V-Linkはセンターコンソールの中に、リモコンの受光部は灰皿ユニットの中、そしてiPodはグローブボックスの中に設置しました。ここがベストポジションだと思います。

V-Link can show pictures and MPG movie that were saved in iPod.
V-Link は、iPodに保存した写真やMPGムービーを再生する事もできます。

V-Link is multifunctional and convenient. But, there are few nise from alternator. :-(
I need a nise filter...
V-Link はとても多機能で便利です。しかし、やっぱりオルタネーターノイズが聞こえます。(--;
ノイズフィルターが必要です。。。

Blue-eyed at nighttime

To make blue-eye at nighttime, I bought following position LED bulb.
夜の蒼目化のために、このＬＥＤポジション球を入手した。

My 2nd LEXUS IS

I got 2nd 2IS !
２台目のＩＳを手に入れた！

This time, I choiced US model, IS350 version-S.
今回は、北米仕様で、IS350 Version-S だ。

And more, this 2IS has Version-L's interior.
しかも、内装はＶｅｒｓｉｏｎ-Lだったりする。

But unfortunately, I can't get into this car...(^^;;
しかし残念ながら、このクルマに乗る事はできない・・・(^^;;

Blue-Eyed my LEXUS IS

My 2ISs body color is "Blueysh pearl crystal shine", maybe it called "Glacier Frost Mica" in other country. So, I thought I had to change the color of my 2ISs eye to match for body color... (^^;;
And, I changed the bulb of high beam.
I don't usually use a high beam. So, I did it for this. (^^;;

僕のISのボディーカラーは「ブルーイッシュ・パール・クリスタル・シャイン」だ。なので、これにマッチさせるために、ISの目の色を変更する必要があると考えた。(^^;;
で、ハイビームのバルブを変更した。
普段、ハイビームは使わないので、これだけの為に・・・(^^;;

Door Mirror Closer

I installed this item today. But No externals have changed...
今日、このアイテムを装着した。でも外観は変わってませんが、、、

The door mirror opened in following picture.
この写真では、ドアミラーは開いています。

The door mirror close automatically when I lock the door.
この状態で、ドアをロックすると、ミラーは自動的に閉じます。

Of course, The door mirror open automatically when I unlock the door.
もちろん、ロックを解除すればミラーは開きます。

So, I can confirm whether the door is locked by seeing the door mirror.
This is very convenient. :)
これで、ドアミラーを見ることで、ドアがロックされているかが分かります。
とても便利で～す。(^^)/

LEXUS IS Stop Lamp

I installed following item.
このアイテムを装着した。
Brake OFF.

Brake ON.

When I step on the brake, the LEXUS log will turn on. However, while I drive my 2IS, I can't see it myself...
ブレーキを踏むと、LEXUSのロゴが点灯する。でも、ドライブ中、自分では見ることが出来ない・・・

BTW, I went to my dealership today for 6 month check. They said my 2IS is good condition and has no problem.
And then, I asked them if it was possible to get THAT ITEM. The answer was possible. So, I ordered it.
Maybe, I will be able to install THAT ITEM next week end.
I'll report it ! :-)
ところで今日、６ヶ月点検の為にディーラーへ行った。僕のISは良好で特に問題は無いとの事だった。
で、ついでに、あのアイテムを入手できるか聞いてみたところ、可能との事だった。早速オーダーしてしまった。
多分、次の週末には装着できると思う。

LEXUS IS Meeting at KAKEGAWA.

LEXUS IS's owners got together at KAKEGAWA city. More than 50 2IS got together !
At first, TimeMachine-san and Macky-san and I met at Ebina-SA. And we headed for the next gathering spot, Fujikawa-SA, while enjoying the rendezvous running.
LEXUS IS　オーナーの集まりが、掛川で行われました。実に５０台以上のＩＳが集結したのだ！
まず、たいむましんさんとMackyさんと僕は海老名ＳＡで合流し、その後３台でランデブー走行を楽しみながら次の集合場所の富士川ＳＡへ向かいました。

At Fujikawa-SA, it was rainy, 20 of 2IS got togethe . Before departure, we were watched by other people so much. (^^;;
富士川ＳＡは雨だったが、２０台のＩＳが集合！出発するまで、凄い注目でした。(^^;;

The formation running of a lot of 2IS must have been an extraordinary spectacle. A noteworthy level from people went up further, and I got excited very much.(^^;;;
これだけ多くのＩＳの編隊走行は異様な光景に間違いなく、注目度は当然上がります。そして僕もとても興奮してしまった。(^^;;;

At the meeting place for this event, a lot of 2IS gathered one after another !
集結場所では、多くのＩＳが次から次へと集まって来ます。

And more than 50 2IS gathered.　It was too fantastic.
そして５０台以上のＩＳが集合、実に圧巻でした！

This is Basara-san's rear stop lamp. The logo of LEXUS light up. Hmm,,, I also make this...
これは、ばさらさんのハイマウントストップランプ。ＬＥＸＵＳのロゴが浮かびあがります。
う～ん、僕も作ってみようかな・・・・

Well, on the way back home, I got this number... (^^;;
さて、帰り道でのこと、この番号をゲット。(^^;;

When I arrived at my home, the total distance was 566.4Km. And the fuel cost after refueled was 15Km/L. The fuel cost of 2IS is good.
家に着いた時の走行距離は566.4Km、そして給油後の燃費は15Km/L。ＩＳは燃費がイイので有りがたい！

Anyway, It was a happy day. I'm looking forward to the next time ! :-)

LEXUS Neck Strap

I got this item. こんな物を入手した。(^^;;

This is neck strap, but a little bit gaiety. Maybe I can't use it at my office. So, Where, When should I use this ?? So far, I'll use it at the 2IS owners meeting next Satureday.

ネックストラップなのだが、ちょっとハデだ。多分オフィスでは使えないな。いつ、どこで使えばいいのだろうか？
とりあえず、来週のオーナーズミーティングで使おうと思う。

LEXUS Owners party

The LEXUS Owners party was held at my dealership last night.
The magic show and the mini-concert were held at the party, Owners were able to have a happy time.
There might not be such a event except LEXUS. I hope that LEXUS continue these event in the future because it was very peaceful and happy.

昨夜、レクサスオーナーズパーティーが僕のディーラーで開催された。
マジックショーや、ミニコンサートが行われ、楽しいひと時を過ごす事が出来た。
このような企画は、レクサスならではだと思う。とても和やかで楽しかったので、是非とも今後とも続けて欲しいと思う。
